Microdermabrasion

We proudly offer the GentlePeel^TM microdermabrasion system, a much talked about particle peel treatment. GentlePeel^TM skin exfoliation therapy is a fast and efficient way of removing old or damaged skin cells and enhancing the vitality and clarity of the skin. Regular treatments will maintain a youthful appearance, especially when part of a well-organized regimen of skin care. What's more, GentlePeel^TM offers a viable, cost-effective alternative to more expensive, invasive techniques. The GentlePeel^TM technique relies on the delivery of minute aluminum oxide crystals to the surface of the skin. These particles gently remove layers of the epidermis as the operator moves the hand piece across the surface of the skin. The GentlePeel unit is the only system of its kind that uses sophisticated electronics to control critical aspects of the treatment. One treatment of the face and neck usually takes 30 minutes. Other areas may be treated as well - face, neck, chest, back, arms, hands, breasts and spot treatments for scars and stretch marks. Microdermabrasion should not be performed on areas of active herpes outbreak, inflammatory acne, undiagnosed lesions or persons with unstable diabetes. Your treatment will be delivered by a certified technician who is knowledgeable in all aspects of the treatment and the skin. A series of 1-6 treatments may eliminate smaller problems while deeper problems such as hyper-pigmentation and scars may take 15 to 36 treatments, but the key is progressive treatment with no downtime while improving your skin's overall beauty and health.

How much preconditioning of the skin is required?

The Vi Peel requires no preconditioning of the skin associated with older generation peels that can take three to five months.

What will the Vi Peel do for my skin?

It uses the synergy of all available and known modes of action of various acids to produce a multitude of positive effects. It tackles skin problems at the cellular level rather than just burning skin off.
